SpectrumWatch is
the premier online system for the selection and acquisition of land mobile radio licenses.
We offer three subscription levels:
1) Free Public WebForm 601 Account - Register online
to file Form 601 applications yourself. Select a coordinator,
fill out the form using our advanced Tree View navigation system, and click "Notify" when the application is ready for coordination.
Manage your applications using My Account - My Apps.
Also, you have access to SpectrumWatch Free Tools such as Find States, Distance and Bearing, Find Elevation, and Cellular Architecture Database.
2) Upgrade to Radio Tools Account - Read and sign our Engineering Contract. This subscription level offers advanced engineering tools, such as AutoX,
SpectrumWatch's frequency check and frequency find tool. Other tools include ULS Search, Canadian Search,
Airport Search, HAAT, DHAAT, Short Spacing, Safe Harbor,
Borders/Zones, Reference Lookup (Lookup frequencies and limitations from FCC Part 90), and Service Contours.
3) Coordinator Account - * Available only for FCC designated coordinators. Coordinators can file Form 601 applications and also have advanced Form 601 features such as Check Apps,
Change Status, Send Emails, and Track Apps. Coordinators also have the ability to generate reports and manage applications.
If you are interested in registering or upgrading your SpectrumWatch account, contact us at

No More Old Form 601
The Old Form 601 pages are gone! Changes include the following:
Tree View - Technical Overview - View all of the technical information (locations, antennas, frequencies,
and emissions on the application and license, when applicable) on one page. This is a good way to view a complete summary.
Table View - Table View Frequency and Table View Emission replaces the Old Frequency page.
Separating frequency and emission reduces errors and redundant data entry.
Bulk Tasks - Bulk Add Frequency and Bulk Add Emission allows for faster additions, especially useful for new applications.
You can add the same frequency to multiple existing antennas at one time, or you can enter up to 3 emissions to multiple existing frequencies.
Check for Bad Data - This page allows you to see if there are any bad frequencies or emissions and delete them. Tree View and Table View
shows only good data, so there is a possibility that bad data was saved (by incorrect data entry, old applications,
through Interagency, or by a system error).
Sample screenshot of new Form 601 - This is modifying call sign KNHW738. Notice that the Tree View displays 2 Locations and
the Table View shows 3 Frequencies and 3 Emissions from the license.
Sample screenshot of new footer - Links to the Old pages have been removed and the new Table View and Bulk Add links have been added.
Table View Frequency and Table View Emission
Table View Concept
The new Table View combines the advantages of the Old Frequency Page (such as Line Copy and the ability to edit multiple frequencies)
with the new advanced features of the Tree View (such as data overlay and color-coding).
1) Line Copy Enabled
Line Copy feature from the Old Frequency Page allows you to quickly enter similar data.
When "Line Copy Enabled" is checked, when you tab to the Action field, the previous line will be copied.
This is useful when entering a lot of new frequencies with the same fields (units, power, erp, etc.)
2) Filter
Filter on location and antenna (and frequency for Table View Emission) to view the frequencies or emissions that you want to see.
3) Better Interface - Drop Down Lists
To reduce errors, the location and antenna (and frequency for Table View Emission) are drop down lists of existing information.
No more adding frequencies to incorrect locations or antennas. Also, no more trying to modify frequencies that don't exist
since the Table View shows you existing frequencies.
4) Separation of Frequency and Emission
The Old Frequency page included both frequency and emission information which caused many errors.
Common errors were made since the frequency information needed to be entered multiple times for many emissions.
Frequency and Emission have now been separated so you only need to enter the frequency once no matter how many emissions you have.
The number of emissions and the listing of emissions are shown, but to edit them, you must go to the Table View Emission page.
Data Overlay
Table View displays the FCC license info as well as the information on the application.
For example in the picture above, the existing frequency information will appear (the row will be highlighted in light blue).
This lets you view the complete information and makes modifications much easier.
Color-Coding Fields
Table View helps you enter the correct information by showing required (orange), optional (light orange), and not required (gray) fields.
Bulk Add Frequency and Bulk Add Emission
Bulk Add Concept
Many users add the same frequency to multiple antennas or add the same emissions to multiple frequencies.
Bulk Add allows you to do that quickly and minimize data entry errors.
1) Enter Frequency Data
Enter the frequency data that you want to add.
2) Filter
Filter by location and antenna (and frequency for Bulk Add Emission) to see only the existing information that you want to see.
3) Check to Add
Check the column header to check/uncheck all, or check/uncheck the appropriate rows that you wish to add to.
4) Click "Bulk Add" Button
"Bulk Add" adds the entered data to the selected rows.
Bulk Add Emission is similar to Bulk Add Frequency except you can add up to 3 emissions at one time.
